Hm, I was reading this and it mentions about Move activity..

In , when moving from an old to new account, does it move/pull all the posts from old to the new ?

I'm thinking, leave the existing Snac instance as is, then setup a new instance in another directory..

Create the same userid(madamada) in and log into that, then use the Move function to move/pull posts from to ..

    Just a wild guess :>

Me too, the current instance is on a small VPS, migrating to seems doable, but the current resources probably won't be able to handle it..

I might be able to deploy on a new VPS hopefully soon..let's see 🙂

Okay, so just forecast planning the upgrade path from to ..

snac export_csv does just that, exports the user's backup into multiple .csv files.

Does support importing those files ?

Try ; it looks useful in the Yggdrasil context as well.
I took a look at the documentation, seems doable :>

Does support other backends besides PostgreSQL ? e.g: sqlite..

            Like / EmojiReact activity audience:

            - Mastodon, Misskey, Hollo, Mbin, Lemmy: audience is not specified, for some reason
            - Pleroma, Akkoma: some instances use followers, others use Public
            - GoToSocial: direct

#Mitra currently uses Public, but delivers only to the post author. I am going to fix this inconsistency and make activities direct by default, but also add an option to generate public reactions (like Pleroma).

Is there another platform that supports this (choosing the reaction visibility)?
